Work Hardening is a program that helps people return to their jobs by restoring workplace abilities. Work Conditioning focuses on improving a person’s physical capacity to work full-time when a specific job is not identified. Both are high-intensity, active programs focused on recovery of function after an injury.
Our approach is unique. We incorporate The Caruso Method to assess the movement system and determine the cause of the dysfunction for people with persistent pain. Our programs combine workouts, training and education to help people develop self-care skills. Many other programs are just a workout that encourage people to “push through the pain.” Other programs require daily attendance for five hours a day. This structure is essential for some people, however there are many who are able to work independently once the root cause of dysfunction has been identified. We guide the successful recovery of people with complex movement system pain problems thought too serious to benefit from conservative care.
